advice on new laptop?

EDIT: Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I went ahead and splurged on the Alienware since I figured they don't usually go on sale

now I won't buy anything else for like... the rest of the year... or the rest of my life.



This one's for all the techie people out there...

The place I'm interning at this summer has a 25% discount on Dell computers, and I'm toying with the idea of getting a new laptop so that I can actually play DAO/DA2 without wanting to kill myself not to mention that my poor Dell Latitude has been making horrible grinding noises and generally frightening me.

The ones I'm looking the most at right now are the Alienware m14x and the Dell XPS 15. I would get the i7 2630M processor on either one. On the Alienware I would get the 3.0GB DDR3 NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 555M, while on the XPS I'd get 3.0GB DDR3 NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 555M.

The Dell XPS would run me about $900 while the Alienware would be around $1200.

IDK, worth it? :/
