Annotations:

1) There is just something so damn awesome about the underdog elf-mage beating the odds to become the Hero of Ferelden! Call me a romantic if you will

2) Fireball - the deadliest spell for both myself and my enemies T_T. I love all the primal spells, anyway (I am too simpleminded to appreciate the more subtle schools!) But don't even get me started on Storm of the Century...

3) I imagine the Harrowing would cause quite a bit of trauma regarding mice...

4) My Surana has a pathetic unrequited crush on Jowan (I actually went and wrote a fanfic about this a while ago.. haha). I figured that anyone who had Jowan as their best friend in the Tower probably wasn't the coolest kid on the block.

5) Alim didn't tend to think too hard about things back in the Tower. He came from the Denerim Alienage orphanage when he was very young, so he doesn't remember much outside of the Tower.

6) These two things become combined in my headcanon/fanfic when Jowan is made Tranquil and Alim finally has to close that chapter of his life ;_;

7) Poor Alim. You'd think that with someone like Jowan there wouldn't be much competition... Don't worry, there are brighter Antivan prospects awaiting you!

11) Somewhere in my list of fanfic to write is an Alistair/Alim friendship reconciliation thing. (Since Alim goes the redeemer route and allows Loghain to sacrifice himself, with Alistair storming off to marry Anora.)

12) This is because I didn't know about the letting Jowan run away free to save refugees ending. But it works out better for dramatic reasons for Jowan to become Tranquil after being handed back to the Circle.

13) It was a cage, but it was still home! *righteous heroic rage!*
