A quick quick 15 min drawing of Virgil from Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura by Troika Games.
Yeah, this pc game has been eating my soul for the past... month. And finally, I was bothered enough by myself to do some fanart.
This guy is a human male named Virgil.
I know I have serious problems when I'm beginning to fancy even the ugly guys in video games/manga/anime etc. but his character is just so much fun.
It's pretty cool to have a game with good voice-acting!

OMG, other peeps that like Arcanum! My favorite character was Raven, with her 'you shoot me in the but i'm gonna kill you' attitude. my favorite quote from the game was Virgil's "And he shall live again on wings of fire . . .oh, no that's not it, he shall be reborn on wings of fire . . .oh Blood and Ashes, why do Elves have to be so damn cryptic?!?"

*drool* OMFG, it's Virgil Brummond. I think the sheer joy is gonna kill me. I *adore* this guy. (And for the record, Evil!Virgil is just plain scary. Problem is, Zen!Virgil is creepy. Why the hell isn't there an option to just keep him as naive, silly, unable-to-swear-in-front-of-women Virgil?)

*glomp* Arcanum fans unite! Stand tall in the world of crappy Final Fantasy rip-offs and stupid sports games!

*ahem*

Dorky!Virgil is by far the most fun. It's kinda cute when he gets all defensive and snarky. It's fun playing a sarcastic character with him around. Hee hee.

(I also believe that I am the ONLY Arronax fangirl ever. I can't help it - he's hysterical. Anyone who can say "I applaud your talent for smiting fools!" is awesome.)

You're not the only Arronax fangirl! Although I was pretty irritated at how useless he was, combat-wise.
I always had a weakness for Sebastian too. And even more oddly, I liked Donn Throgg. Maybe just the concept of him...

I like Sebastian and Donn Throgg too! *joy* You aren't my long-lost twin or summat, are you? *grin*

Arronax was decent when you could actually make him cast his spells. But why oh WHY couldn't he equip weapons or armour? I had the best robe for him, too. Hell, if he could just use a Dagger of Speed he'd be perfect.
