It's hard to hate Cailan who's a mini Alastair and it's easy to love Anora who's the better version of Queen Cersei who's actress actually looks like a natural blonde 
(Sorry Lena Heady, but those eyebrows really stand out....)
It's easy to empathize with Anora and easier to like her (once you're past the tsun part in her tsundere at the endgame).
Maybe the hate of her is because she's blonde and pretty? (totally ignoring the plausible chance that it's because she's a bit more Machiavellian than most people FTW)
